I'm Julia Fell, a photo and PR editor with around 20 years of experience in content marketing.

I offer a 360-degree solution for effective communication in words and (moving) images – from classic PR work to developing communication strategies, content production and media planning.

I develop visual languages for companies, museums and editorial teams, organise photo shoots, write copy and design PR measures that bring it all together. Because what belongs together comes from one source: image, text and communication planning.

I've been freelance since 2019, before that I worked for over ten years as a permanent photo editor and Senior Photo Editor for publishers and agencies. You can find more about my career in my CV. I'm based in Wedemark, north of Hanover, Germany. For shoots, onboardings and meetings, I'm available worldwide.

I always think about communication on three levels: imagery, copy and planning – whether in content marketing or advertising. This saves resources, creates synergies and ensures your messages reach exactly where they need to.

AI as a tool, not a replacement

I actively integrate AI tools into (photo) editorial processes – transparently, fairly towards creators and always following the principle of "human in the loop". Want to do the same? I'm happy to advise you, recommend tools or help you design Custom GPTs or AI agents.

Experience, creativity and curiosity

Even after around 20 years in content marketing, I've stayed curious. I continuously complete further training in online marketing, web design, graphic design, social media management and AI to stay up to date.
