Photo Editing
Die absatzwirtschaft ist das traditionsreichste Marketing-Medium Deutschlands und versteht sich als Plattform und Heimat der Marketing-Community. Seit den Fünfziger Jahren erscheint das Magazin und wurde im Laufe seines Lebens immer wieder optisch gerelauncht. So auch 2022 unter der Chefredaktion von Christa Müller, die mich mit der Entwicklung einer neuen Bildsprache beauftragte. Gesagt, getan: plakativ, überraschend, on Point und ein bisschen „krawallig" sind die Bilder jetzt, und sie passen zum neuen Duktus und Layout, das die Art Direction definierte. Die neue Bildsprache durfte ich anschließend für viele Ausgaben (Print und digital) sowie zwei Newsletter umsetzen. So entstanden Strecken mit ungewöhnlichen Stockbildern und zahlreiche Porträt-Shootings mit Führungspersönlichkeiten aus Marketing und Kommunikation – darunter Entscheider:innen von Microsoft, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Telekom und SYZYGY.

For Allianz, I was commissioned with a major international photo production and the creation of an image pool to promote a new insurance product in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain. The desired visual language: authentic, approachable and usable across all countries. I was responsible for the entire production – from concept development to booking, model casting, location scouting and on-set supervision through to invoicing, budget control and contract management. Four weeks of travel to Berlin, The Hague, Rome and Barcelona later, the result was a selection of over 10,000 images that continue to be used today. The team included 24 models and a brilliant crew of photographers, stylists, make-up artists and assistants, all fully committed.

With a circulation of over two million copies, ADAC Motorwelt is arguably Germany's most renowned membership magazine. In 2020, a relaunch was planned to bring fresh energy to this established publication. For the first issue in its new design, I was commissioned by agency Storyboard to produce the cover shoot and the lead feature – a travel reportage through Sicily. The result: a varied spread that complemented the text, which was also created during production, with modern, natural, lifestyle-oriented imagery. I organised and supervised the entire production including booking and contract management, in close coordination with art direction and editorial, to ensure a seamless final product.

PR & Communications
For the Museum Wilhelm Busch, Germany's Museum of Caricature and Drawing in Hanover, I was responsible for press and public relations as well as marketing for around two years. I managed the museum's entire communications: building and maintaining a press distribution list, writing press releases, media monitoring, organising press conferences and interview appointments, social media management, media planning and ad booking (including ZEIT, Titanic, ARTMAPP, Ströer), creating and producing flyers, newsletters and special advertising formats, as well as maintaining the museum website. The result: coverage in ZDF heute journal, FAZ, DIE ZEIT, Süddeutsche Zeitung, taz, NDR Kultur and numerous other media outlets.
